His pioneering work in locality-sensitive hashing now underpins Uber’s ability to identify similar trips at scale. Prior to founding DataSpartan, Leslie held senior roles in Quantitative Research at leading financial institutions including Bank of America, Commerzbank, and Credit Suisse.
David is a key leader in machine learning modeling, large-scale data ingestion, and the practical application of AI systems in real-world environments. Passionate about the power of technology to drive progress, he believes: “Technology and automation will continue to solve society’s most challenging problems.
